Furniture Delivery & Pickup Policy

At Openstock Outlet, we strive to make receiving your furniture as simple and convenient as possible. Please review the following Delivery & Pickup Policy before completing your purchase.

Delivery Service Area

Openstock Outlet offers local delivery within approximately fifteen (15) miles of our store location.

Delivery fees generally range from $99 to $249, depending on:

  • Distance from the store
  • Accessibility of the delivery location
  • Number and size of items being delivered
  • Stairways, tight spaces, or other delivery challenges

Deliveries outside our standard service area may be available on a case-by-case basis.

Delivery Terms

All furniture is delivered in its original manufacturer packaging unless otherwise noted.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Furniture will arrive unassembled.
  • Assembly is the responsibility of the purchaser.
  • Packaging materials will remain with the customer.
  • Delivery personnel are not responsible for assembly, installation, wall mounting, electrical connections, plumbing connections, or moving existing furniture.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring adequate access to the delivery location.

Customers are solely responsible for verifying that purchased merchandise will fit through all doorways, hallways, stairways, elevators, and into the intended room.

Openstock Outlet is not responsible for furniture that cannot be delivered, moved, or placed in the intended room due to size restrictions, access limitations, or conditions within the customer’s property.

Delivery Scheduling

A representative will contact the customer to schedule delivery after merchandise arrives at our store and has been inspected.

Customers must be available during the agreed-upon delivery window or have an authorized adult (18 years of age or older) present to accept delivery.

Missed delivery appointments may be subject to additional delivery fees.

Delivery fees are non-refundable.

Merchandise Inspection

Customers are encouraged to inspect all merchandise immediately upon delivery.

Any visible damage, shortage, defect, or discrepancy must be reported to Openstock Outlet within twenty-four (24) hours of delivery.

Failure to report such issues within twenty-four (24) hours may result in denial of the claim.

Openstock Outlet reserves the right to repair, replace parts, exchange merchandise, or provide store credit at its sole discretion.

Customer Pickup

Customers will be notified when their furniture order has arrived and is available for pickup.

Customers are encouraged to pick up merchandise as soon as possible.

Pickup Deadline & Storage Fees

Furniture orders must be picked up within seven (7) calendar days of notification.

Beginning on the eighth (8th) day, a storage fee of $25 per day per order may be assessed until the merchandise is picked up or delivery arrangements have been made.

Storage fees must be paid in full prior to the release of merchandise.

Storage fees shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the merchandise.

Abandoned Merchandise

Any merchandise not picked up within thirty (30) days of notification may be considered abandoned unless prior arrangements have been approved by management.

Openstock Outlet reserves the right to:

  • Cancel the order
  • Apply deposits and payments toward storage fees and administrative costs
  • Restock or resell the merchandise
  • Issue any remaining balance as store credit
  • Pursue any additional remedies permitted by law

Special Orders

Merchandise ordered specifically for a customer is considered a Special Order.

Special Orders may require a deposit and are non-cancelable and non-refundable once the order has been placed with the manufacturer, distributor, or supplier.

Estimated arrival dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Right to Modify Delivery Services

Openstock Outlet reserves the right to decline, postpone, reschedule, or modify delivery services due to safety concerns, accessibility limitations, weather conditions, road conditions, equipment limitations, or circumstances beyond its control.

Customer Pickup Responsibility

Customers choosing to pick up merchandise are responsible for providing:

  • An appropriately sized vehicle, trailer, or transportation method
  • Adequate tie-down straps, ropes, moving blankets, and securing materials
  • Sufficient manpower or assistance

Openstock Outlet employees may assist with loading merchandise as a courtesy; however, once merchandise has been loaded and released to the customer, the customer assumes full responsibility.

Openstock Outlet is not responsible for:

  • Damage occurring during transportation
  • Improperly secured merchandise
  • Weather-related damage after pickup
  • Damage to the customer’s vehicle, trailer, or property during loading or transport

Limitation of Liability

Openstock Outlet shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, special, or punitive damages arising from the purchase, delivery, transportation, assembly, installation, ownership, or use of merchandise.

Openstock Outlet’s maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the merchandise.

Customer Acknowledgment

By signing below or completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this Furniture Delivery & Pickup Policy.
